Biography: Jakub Skarek is a prospect of the New York Islanders (NHL). As mentioned in many articles online, Skarek has two sides to him. The first, the Czech Republic side where his stats and game play make him one of the top goalie prospects in the world. Then, there’s the international side. Skarek’s statistics at the international level have not quite been on par with his stats in the regular season, though the Islanders were more than happy to take a chance on the prospect.
